Lightest Double Stroller

When you're searching for a light double-stroller, its folded size and weight are crucial factors to consider. Choosing one that's easy to maneuver and compact when not in use will make it easier to fit in the trunk of your car and navigate through airport security and other foreign streets.

The best strollers that are lightweight have a light, intuitive fold and self-standing mechanism to reduce stress on parent bodies. Many strollers have various seating options and some are able to accommodate car seats for infants.

Kolcraft Cloud Plus

Designed for the family on the go. Lightweight and compact, with an easy fold with one hand. The all-terrain wheels and front suspension as well as the multi-position reclining seats can accommodate children weighing up to 50 pounds. Parent and child trays along with a large storage bin and 3-tier canopy that has a peek-a-boo window for maximum sun protection.

The Cloud has one of the lowest scores on our quality tests due to its thin feel with hard plastic seats, and a design that seems outdated. It's also more expensive than other strollers double that are lighter. This makes it a poor option for parents looking for an affordable option.

Although it's not the lightest double stroller, it comes with enough features to be worth a look. The swiveling front wheels make it easy to maneuver on flat surfaces and it can leap over curbs with ease, unlike many other lightweight strollers that drift off course when trying to do the same thing. The low handle of the Cloud is a drawback however, as it's at knee level and isn't adjustable. It's not a comfortable thing to push with your legs hanging in the air and it's also not helping that it's not padded.

During our tests during our testing, we found the Cloud to be simple to open and set up. It's a bit more complicated to close the cloud, however. You need to slide a slider and then push a large white button to cause it to collapse. It can be quite frustrating especially if you're trying to manage kids while doing it.

The Cloud has a small but deep storage basket that could accommodate a medium-sized diaper bag. The basket is small and you might have to leave something in there to reach the back. The Cloud comes with an adult and child tray with two cup holders however, both are too narrow to hold larger bottles or cups.

The Kolcraft brand has been in existence since 1946 and is a third generation family-owned business. They started out making diapers and crib pads however, they now manufacture several baby products, including highchairs and infant car seats. The company is located in Chicago and is an American manufacturer.

Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS

Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS is a fairly barebones lightweight double stroller that's great to travel with. It's light at 18 lbs (lighter than some Single to double buggy strollers!) It folds flat, making it easy to carry and store. It also features independently reclined seats as well as large SPF 50 sunvisors with peekaboo window. The visors can be adjusted to accommodate children of different heights. Plus, it has a one step linked parking brake and is Disney-size approved.

The swivel wheels on the Jeep are also awesome for navigating over bumps and uneven surfaces. This stroller doesn't accept car seats. Your child must be at least six months old and have a good neck control to use the front seat. It does come with an attractive, three-panel sun canopy, however, and each seat has its own snack tray, as well as cup holders for parents.

It has a convenient strap for carrying and can hold children weighing up to 44 pounds for each seat.

Summer 3D Pac for Infants CS+

Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ is a stroller that is light with a lot of features. It's not just lightweight, weighing just 13 pounds but also has plenty of storage space, including child and parent cupholders, a child's sippy-cup pouch as well as a pocket for storage for parents, etc. It can also be used with a child's car seat and features a brake that is flip-flop friendly.
